三格式化粪池是由三个相互连通的密封粪池组成
三格式化粪池是由三个相互连通的密封粪池组成，由进粪管、三个分格池、二根过粪管、盖板等部分组成，粪便由进粪管进入第1池依次顺流到第3池。第1池为截留沉淀与发酵池，第2池为再次发酵池，第3池为贮粪池。
The three format septic tank is composed of three interconnected sealed septic tanks, which are composed of fecal inlet pipe, three compartment tanks, two fecal pipes and cover plate. The feces enter the first tank from the fecal inlet pipe and then flow downstream to the third tank. The first tank is the retention sedimentation and fermentation tank, the second tank is the second fermentation tank, and the third tank is the septic tank.
1、粪池容积基本要求（关键）

三格化粪池容积根据使用人数、冲水量、粪便发酵腐熟的时间以及沉卵灭菌的要求来决定。容积达到贮粪两个月为宜。第1池、第2池、第3池的容积比为2：1：3，在不减少第1池规定容积的前提下可适当扩大第2池的容积，不用粪肥的户厕第3池可适当减小其容积。当第2池容积不足0.5m3时，可按0.5m3设计施工。
The volume of the three compartment septic tank is determined by the number of users, the amount of flushing water, the time of fecal fermentation and decomposition, and the requirements of egg sinking and sterilization. It is suitable to store manure for two months. The volume of the first tank and the third tank can not be reduced when the first and third tank are not used. 一般我国通用计算参数是每人每天的粪尿排泄量，包括少量冲洗厕所用水在内，按3.5公斤(最低量)计算，粪便发酵腐熟时间及病原体死亡时间按30天计算（达到粪便无害化处理目的），其中在第1池需停留20天，第2池停留10天，第3池容积至少是二池之和。
